I have not been on their website for awhile. It is worth getting the Syrian oregano as well. Lovely silvery white foliage though more upright in habit. Short lived also so you have to keep up with taking cuttings or saving seed. Thanks for the reply. One of the nurseries I enquired from has found some. They at first thought that the plants would not be available for three weeks. That nursery is Greenpatch Herbs.

I will try the method you have suggested for growing it.

Cheers, Anna

Annanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-854285493028775412.post-26796428653906716372018-03-20T11:47:34.482+11:002018-03-20T11:47:34.482+11:00Hi Anna, I no longer have a plant but have been th...Hi Anna, I no longer have a plant but have been thinking differently on how to grow it.
I think a mulch of limestone chips or grit might be the way to keep it happy and zero fertilizer. I can't recall where I purchased mine but I think it was from an on-line nursery. There are three place on the internet which list this plant but unfortunately all are out of stock and will not be available until late in the year. I love this plant for its furry silver leaves and will be awaiting its availability again. Both are on the edge of a sunny rockery at Bilpin, surrounded by a collar of gravel and so far, so good. if I'm hand watering I go round them. The in formation in your blog about them is really interesting. Thank you for mentioning the date of this year's Fair, coming up in April. Who knows what more treasures we'll find!

Cheers,

Peta Trahar Peta Traharhttp://www.petatraharnursery.com.aunoreply@blogger.com
