Le Tour is in the Pyrenees and I want to be there right now watching the Aussies and perhaps even wearing a Koala suit.....This book is a wonderful guide to the area. Jacket photograph is the Pyrenean Saxifrage (Saxifraga longifolia) and below is the Yellow Turkscap Lily (Lilium pyranaicum) found growing amongst boulders, on cliffs and steep mountainsides and in flower now. Wow!
A wonderful feeling to see plants and flowers on tough places, rocks and boulders. We as humans too, are very much adaptable, both physically and psychologically. ~bangchik
