Anthurium andraenum
Originally these familiar indoor plants came from the warm humid jungles of south west Colombia.
I find them a curious and seductive plant to have indoors and they never cease to amaze with their wax like flowers which come in shades of bright red, salmon pink, pale pink and greenish white. They flower for a long time and the large heart shaped leaves are glossy and equally attractive.
