Hardy Agave under Pine Trees
It is always difficult to find something to grow in the dry shade of pine trees but Agave angustifoliaMarginata seems to be thriving and is spreading out with lots of new plants. 2017 update: I have plenty of stock of this Agave.
It is always difficult to find something to grow in the dry shade of pine trees but Agave angustifolia Marginata seems to be thriving and is spreading out with lots of new plants.
We grow azaleas under pine trees here. We give them an ocean of water, however. Azaleas thrive in the high shade of pines.
