Lepiderema pulchella, Fine-leaved Tuckeroo

Lepiderema pulchella, fine-leaved Tuckeroo
This is a wonderful native tree which grows to about 5 metres. Slow growing and spindly at first, but eventually forming a nice rounded dense canopied specimen, it is an ideal tree for a courtyard or small garden.
The flushes of soft pink new leaves are a real feature as are the masses of pale orange flowers which appear in spring.
It is native habitat is northern New South Wales(Tweed Valley) and southern Queensland but is adaptable to temperate regions.

2017 update: Available from specialist native plant nurseries.
